"Commencing in January is this mad project that I'm involved in, its basically a serialization of Shakespeare's The Tempest told over 6 months in a shop which changes, chameleon like, every month to be a different location. You can read a bit about it here: www.obravenewworld.co.uk.
We're looking to get a different design team for each month to design and oversee construction of an installation in the entire shop space. I wondered if maybe teamteam or either of you individually (team?) might like to be involved later this year? Then let me know and I'll give you more information."
We (Me, Iz, Jimmy and Lizzie) went to see the space - see photo and spoke a bit about what they would want - an office space at the front of the space and a super computer at the back with a fake wall separating them!
We have a budget of £800 plus small contingency. There currently isn't a space to build in (before we get the space) but Iz has studio space and I have a room in my house we could use every now and again! Also they are talking to the council to try and sort something out.
We have now agreed to it!
The build/dress dates are:
20th - 29th feb (ish) - strike the current set and build/install/dress ours.
